Mayors of Kranj, Ljubljana, and Velenje signed a commitment for the Mission 100 Climate Neutral and Smart Cities.

These cities were selected for the European Commission's Mission 100 program to achieve climate neutrality by 2030. The mission aims to accelerate progress in the most ambitious European cities and provide support, advice, funding opportunities, innovation activities, and visibility. The mayors pledged to work together, exchange best practices, engage in joint events, and encourage other Slovenian cities to strive for climate neutrality. The event included a lecture by leading Slovenian climatologist Dr. Lučka Kajfež Bogataj on carbon neutrality.
