The Municipality of Kranj provides city passenger transport with city buses, visitors and residents also have access to numerous parking lots at various locations in Kranj and its surroundings, and a motorhome stop for tourists.

Visitors to the city centre can take a free on-call electric minibus called Kranvaj.

There is also a system for renting bicycles KRsKOLESOM/Gorenjska.bike and a system for renting electric cars.

Taxi services also operate in Kranj.

It is also possible to travel to or from Kranj by train. Kranj railway station is located slightly outside the city - there is a city bus that drives to the station, and there is also a station KRsKOLESOM, so you can get a rental bike and leave it there, and the walk from the city centre to the railway station takes about ten minutes.
