The American Ambassador visits Kranj

The City of Kranj was visited by the American Ambassador to Slovenia, Jamie Lindler Harpootlian. During the working meeting, she met with Mayor Matjaž Rakovec and Deputy Mayors Janez Černe and Manja Zorko. She also took a tour of the old town center of Kranj.

In the summer of 2022, the City of Kranj established a sister city relationship with Colorado Springs. The twinning was carried out in the United States, and this March, a delegation returned the visit. During that visit, the delegation met with the American Ambassador to Slovenia, Jamie Lindler Harpootlian, who received them in Ljubljana. This time, the ambassador visited Kranj. During her visit to the city, where the city's leadership also presented current projects, she signed the guestbook, visited the old town center, and climbed the bell tower of St. Kancijan's Church.
